Dyneema & Ceramic Level III+ Plate

The Dyneema & Cermic HAPs (Hard Armour Panel) are the latest in must have personal protection when entering, working or living in high threat situations.
The Light Weight Dyneema (15 times stronger than steel) & Ceramic Body Armour Upgrade Plate to be used with level IIIa vest weighs only 1.8kg (approx). Capable of stopping SS109 (Steel core round).
The plates are designed to provide maximum protection at the lowest possible weight. It also has the unique curve shape to optimise fit and comfort.

Traditional rifle resistant body armour has utilised either alumina (Aluminum Oxide) ceramic or polyethylene fibres. VestGuard has developed a new lighter plate based entirely on Ceramic and Polyethylene fibre technology, giving outstanding performance at a considerable weight saving.

These plates are placed into pockets supplied in tactical covert and overt vests located one to the front and one on the back of the outer carrier. They are additional addons and will achieve the NIJ level III rated protection when used in conjunction with NIJ Level IIIA SAPs (Soft Armour Panels) suplied with tactical carriers. 

VestGuard offer 4 types of ballistic plates. The difference between the plates is the weight and the protection level. In most situations a level three is more than sufficient to protect along with the level IIIa vest. This plate incorporates both Ceramic and Dyneema to give better protection.
