ISO 9001:2008 Certified

VestGuard UK have been certified to ISO 9001:2008. This is a quality management system that is understood by management and employees at all levels and is closely linked to the business plan and to customers needs.

The quality management system ensures that all Body Armour undergoes the same manufacturing and sales process.

These processes are recorded in the quality policy in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 standard and these are audited, both externally and internally, on a regular basis.

VestGuard UK are certified for the 'Design, Development, Sale and Supply of Body Armour, Ballistic Solutions and Personal Protective Equipment'. This requires the above scope to be audited on every process involved and ensure that the company meets the high quality standards of the ISO 9001:2008.

Where non-conformances are raised, the quality management system is issued with immediate corrective action and is documented to this affect, to ensure that all staff are aware of the change in process. Regular audits ensure that processes are not only amended when a problem arises, but that the processes are as efficient as possible.

CE Marking

VestGuard UK are one of the only British manufacturer's of Body Armour to have attained CE Marking on their products. VestGuard not only met the standards set by the EC-Type Examination, but surpassed them, scoring the highest attainable classification 'Excellent' in every category of Ergonomic Testing for the 'Ultra-Covert Vest'. This vest is the most popular sold to bouncers and security guards, offering a high level of ballistic protection, whilst remaining light, flexible, thin. As a result of the 'CE' mark approval, VestGuard are able to provide this and all other VestGuard body armour to civilians in the European Union.

Essex Trading Standards have warned that Body Armour manufacturers who are selling body armour systems which are not 'CE' certified to members of the public are breaching European laws and civilians should only buy body armour with this 'CE' marking.

VestGuard are one of only two manufacturers and suppliers of Body Armour from the United Kingdom, who have been able to meet the European standard and therefore legally sell to civilians from all countries within the European Union. This includes councils, security teams, bouncers, bailiffs and all other civilians who require Body Armour.
